West Windsor
West Windsor Township has one of the busiest railroad stations in New Jersey servicing New York City and Philadelphia. There’s plenty of recreational, educational and sports facilities with golf courses, a swimming complex, indoor and outdoor tennis, boating, a Food Truck Fiesta and various cultural festivals. Preserved open space is balanced with commercial and retail development after relying heavily upon agriculture until the last half of the 20th century. West Windsor consists of several small hamlets, one of which is Grovers Mill, which was the site for Orson Welles’ infamous 1938 radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds.
